Yes, BGHRA Online Academy teachers will always make sure that your child is comfortable during their learning. During 90% of the lesson, visuals and physical movements will be used to support your learner. Additionally, teachers do have 10% of the time to clarify any questions and explain.

How do I pay for my lessons?

You may pay for lessons in your registered account. You may subscribe to 1, 2 or more lessons per week for a period of 4, 12 or 24 weeks. The basic subscription for 4 weeks is automatically renewed at the end of the respective period. The long subscription for 12 and 24 weeks is a one-time payment without automatic renewal.

May multiple children attend lessons at the same time?

BGHRA Online Academy offers one-on-one lessons only. Your child has a dialogue with the native speakers or bilingual teachers. The teachers follow the children’s progress and change the program if necessary. If you have more children, we will be happy to add your children to your account and offer a free trial lesson for each child. We also give a special discount for families with 3 children!

How do I reschedule or cancel a lesson?

You may cancel a lesson in your account no later than 8 hours before the start of the lesson. It is also possible to reschedule a lesson with the same teacher within the next 7 days (if a free date is available), at least 1 hour before the start of the lesson.

How may I schedule regular lessons?

You can select suitable days and times, as well as the teachers in your account. If you have difficulty creating a schedule, please contact us by chat or email.

How long is each lesson?

The duration of each K-5 lesson lasts 25 minutes. According to scientific studies, this period is optimal for a child to concentrate on one-on-one lessons with native/bilingual speakers. If you think your child is ready, feel free to plan two hours in a row. Students in 6-12 and college students will meet for 60 minutes each time.

What do I do if I had technical difficulties during a lesson?

Make sure you are using the Google Chrome browser when connecting from a desktop, laptop, Macbook, or tablet (Android OS). If you are connecting via an iPad (OS iOs), use the Safari browser. Refresh the page. Check the microphone and camera. Restart the device. If the steps above didn’t help, contact support via chat or email.

Do parents have to be present for lessons?

We encourage parents to attend the first lesson, but this is not required for future lessons. If your child is in K-8 grade, it is especially important to give them emotional support during the trial lesson. We ask parents of Kindergartners to stay in class until the children get used to the
